All three Agra monuments in a single run from Delhi.
The Taj and Agra Fort are the two everyone does. The Baby Taj is the one that gets cut when time runs short, and it is the one that most rewards the detour.
What you see
Taj Mahal. Time enough for the Great Gate approach, the gardens, the platform and the interior, with your guide covering the pietra dura work and the calligraphy properly.
Agra Fort. Red sandstone walls with marble palaces inside. The Diwan-i-Am where the emperor heard petitions, the Jahangir Palace, and the Musamman Burj, the octagonal tower where Shah Jahan spent eight years imprisoned by his son with the Taj visible across the river.
Itimad-ud-Daulah, the Baby Taj, on the far bank. Nur Jahan built it for her father in the 1620s, and it is the first Mughal tomb faced entirely in white marble with inlay. Everything the Taj later did at scale was tried here first, and you can get close enough to see how it was done. It is usually almost empty.

The Taj is closed on Fridays. The Fort and Baby Taj remain open.
