If you have twelve hours in Delhi between flights, or you land in the morning and cannot check in until the afternoon, this is a better use of the time than an airport lounge. A car meets you at the terminal, drives you to Agra, and has you back before your onward flight.
How it works
Pickup at Indira Gandhi International, or from your hotel if you prefer. Private air-conditioned vehicle down the Yamuna Expressway, roughly three hours each way. Your personal guide meets you in Agra and takes you through the Taj Mahal, with entry tickets already included rather than bought at the gate. There is time at Agra Fort as well depending on your schedule, and the whole day is built backwards from the time you need to be back at the terminal.
