How the day runs
Pickup from any hotel in or around Delhi. Private air-conditioned car for the full Delhi to Agra to Delhi run, roughly three hours each way on the Yamuna Expressway. A local guide joins you in Agra.
The Taj Mahal first, ideally early. Then Agra Fort, where the Diwan-i-Am, the Jahangir Palace and the Musamman Burj all sit within a single circuit and the view across the Yamuna to the Taj explains Shah Jahan's last years better than any plaque.
