The straightforward Delhi to Agra day, done privately.
No group to wait for, no fixed departure, no coach with twenty other people. A car collects you from your hotel in Delhi, you go to Agra, you see what you came to see, and you come home. About ten hours door to door.
How it goes
Pickup from your hotel or the airport in Delhi. The Yamuna Expressway runs to Agra in roughly three hours in a private air-conditioned car. At the Taj Mahal your government-approved guide takes you through the Great Gate approach, the gardens, the platform and the interior, and explains the inlay work and the symmetry tricks properly. There is time at Agra Fort afterwards, and the option of a stop at a marble workshop where the pietra dura technique is still done by hand.
Then back to Delhi, dropped wherever you were collected.
