The Taj after dark, which almost nobody arranges.
Moonlight viewing at the Taj Mahal is real, tightly restricted, and worth understanding before you book anything that promises it.
The Archaeological Survey of India permits night entry on five nights a month only: the full moon and the two nights either side. It is capped at 400 visitors per night, split into eight batches of fifty for thirty minutes each. Tickets are sold only at the ASI office in Agra, exactly 24 hours in advance, and they are not available online. Night viewing does not run on Fridays or during Ramadan. You view from the red sandstone platforms rather than walking up to the mausoleum.
This tour is built around that window, with the daytime Agra sites filling the hours before it.
How the day runs
Pickup in Delhi in a private air-conditioned car, down to Agra on the expressway. Daytime sightseeing with your professional guide, then the evening slot at the Taj, then the drive back. About ten hours.

Worth knowing
Dates are the whole constraint. Only five nights a month qualify, and they move with the lunar calendar. Check your dates against the full moon before booking anything else around this.
Cloud cover changes the experience completely, and there is no refund from ASI for weather.
The 24-hour ticket rule means the purchase happens in Agra the day before. Confirm with us how that is handled for your booking.
If the dates do not work, Mehtab Bagh across the river gives an excellent evening view of the Taj with no ticket lottery, and tripods are allowed there.
