The tightest version of the Agra day.
At roughly six and a half hours this is about as short as a Delhi to Agra trip can honestly be, and the Gatimaan Express is why. It covers the distance in around 100 minutes each way, against three hours by road, and it does it on a schedule that Delhi traffic cannot interfere with.
How the day runs
Pickup from anywhere in Delhi or NCR, then the morning Gatimaan from Hazrat Nizamuddin. Breakfast is served on board and included in the fare. At Agra Cantt a car and your guide meet the train, and you go straight into sightseeing rather than arriving stiff from three hours on the expressway.
The Taj Mahal with a guide, and Agra Fort or other sites depending on the option you pick. Late afternoon back to the station for the return service, with a car waiting for you in Delhi.

The Taj is closed on Fridays, and the Gatimaan does not run on Fridays either, so the two line up.
