Traveler Reviews
The journey to Jim Corbett National Park was pleasant and comfortable. The car was air-conditioned, and the driver provided us with chewing gum and Indian sweets. The accommodation in the national park was excellent. The room was very comfortable, the pool and the view of the river were beautiful, and the resort’s location near the safari was ideal. The Indian dinner and breakfast were delicious. We especially enjoyed the evening safari with an experienced guide, where we saw many animals such as deer, peacocks, jackals, monkeys, hummingbirds, and the Kingfisher. Unfortunately, we couldn’t spot any tigers or elephants during our safari in early April.
it's a long drive to get to the park but car was comfortable so bear this in mind bring activities. The hotel was nice with a pool. The safari itself was nice to ride on the jeep and see different areas on the two different trips. people outside try to sell souvenirs and chai which honestly is pretty reasonable price. we didn't see many animals on the morning safari just a few deer and monkeys so I would manage your expectations. I think it is rare to see a tiger. we did see tiger footprints a few times and the warning calls to say they were nearby but it is a large area. no other cultural activities were offered at the hotel. food was good. timings are a little different from. advertised so just double check for your trip.
The tour was good. The driver arrived at our pickup hotel with a bunch of flowers, which was very sweet. The driver was great but be aware that the drive is very long. Everything was generally well organised. My only slight issue was that the timings kept changing in terms of when we were being picked up and when the jeep tours were. This made it a bit difficult to work out breakfast and lunch. The safari place on arrival seemed a bit confused that we might want lunch even if it wasn't included in the price even though we were told that we could have lunch on arrival, but they did end up serving us something. The included dinner in the evening was truly excellent. The jeep safaris were good. Unfortunately, we didn't spot any tigers but that is the risk you take with wild animals. The drivers and guides were excellent. Communication with the company was good. Overall, I would recommend the tour.
The Safari was amazing, we really enjoyed the experience, we were able to see elephants, deers, roars, monkeys and other animals. The only complains that we have are regarding the hotel, since there are not many options for people with food restriction (allergies) and that the personal have a lot of trouble inderstanding English. Also the hotel restaurant has a menu but most of the food is not available so options are very limited.
The experience was amazing- seeing so much wildlife and experiencing the different habitat of the park.We we're lucky enough to see tigers Driver was fantastic and its worth tge drive The itinerary needs updating however to reflect actual timings and the new law preventing use of mobiles needs to be highlighted so visitors bring their camera
The driver was good and kind. The dinner was delicious. The room was cozy Saw some animals such as elephant, peacock, monkeys, 3 types of deer, and many kind of birds. Unfortunately no tiger for us. Please make sure to join the safari tour either/both morning or/and evening. As most of the animals are sleeping at daytime.
