From Delhi: Private 3-Day Golden Triangle Tour

just returned from an amazing 3-day trip covering Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur – and I can’t recommend it enough! This classic Golden Triangle route gave me a perfect blend of history, culture, architecture, and local flavor in a short time.

Private driver in India was simply 5/5. From booking and throughout the tour this was an amazing experience. Our first interaction was with Manuj and he also kept in touch throughout the trip to make sure we were happy. Our driver Amit was great, he made us feel very safe and went the extra mile to bring us to placed we wouldn’t have found without him. The trip was very flexible and catered to our needs and we got to see a lot of things although we didn’t have a lot of time. Hotels were great. We especially enjoyed our guide Bupi in Agra and the whole Jaipur experience. Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a great Golden Triangle experience!

We were on a 3 day tour of the Golden Triangle. Our driver Abhi was great, flexible to our needs and provided us with plenty of attractions. From the beginning, we felt very safe and under very kind care. The sightseeing was at a pace that suited us. Abhi quickly understood which topics interested us more and changed the amount of time we spent on different monuments during the tour. The car was very comfortable, the hotels were excellent, and the guides were very professional. Apart from the beautiful Taj Mahal, we were very impressed by Fatehpur Sikri, Chand Baori and the interesting stories of a very nice guide in Jaipur. I highly recommend it!

Great trip with lots of local information provided by Mannu our driver. Walking around the site where Ghandi spent his last 144 days was poignant. The Taj Mahal at sunset and sunrise was out of this world and the guide Mannu chose for us was the best giving just the right amount of info and a little time to explore on our own. Driving around Jaipur the Pink City & exploring the Amber Palace was another memorable experience. Mannu is a great driver and made me feel safe at all times - and that’s not something easily achieved 😂. Choosing the best chai shops and restaurants where we could sample the local cuisine was an added bonus that Mannu offered. He was good company and courteous at all times. Mannu introduced me to an exceptional tailor and I ended up spending lots of money as it was such exceptional value and quality.

What a fabulous trip with so many wonderful memories. So many highlights from sunrise at the Taj Mahal to eating street food in Jaipur. Manoj and his team understood what we wanted, and flexed the itinerary when needed. Professional and courteous throughout we also shared many laughs. The accommodation was first rate. Local knowledge goes a long way whether it’s the best places to eat (and we enjoyed high end dining and street cafes); or timing of visits and the best entrances to avoid crowds. Also places to shop, not that I am a shopper, but where I had a genuine interest to buy he took us to the right places. India is a place with so much colour and life. What Manoj and his team did was to enrich our visit in the time allowed, more than we could have achieved on our own. I can’t speak for the quality of the competition but what I firmly believe from my own experience is that I could not have found a better person and company to deal with.

We had an amazing experience on this tour. Our tour guide went out of his way to make sure all our needs were met - choosing local guides that enhanced our experience in each location, 5-star hotels in every city we stayed and a very comfortable drive through the hectic streets. I was nervous booking a private tour as we had always done group tours in the past, but after this experience, not only have I fallen in love with the Golden Triangle, I won't hesitate to do private touring in the future.
