Tag eins, Delhi
Der Qutub Minar, das 72 Meter hohe Minarett, 1192 begonnen, und die Eisensäule daneben, die sechzehn Jahrhunderte im Freien gestanden hat, ohne zu rosten. Das Humayun-Mausoleum, das Gartengrab, das der direkte Prototyp des Taj Mahal war, von einem persischen Architekten für die Witwe eines Mogulkaisers gebaut. Alt-Delhi für das Rote Fort und die Jama Masjid, und die Gassen von Chandni Chowk. Dann das India Gate und die kolonialen Alleen von Lutyens' Delhi.
Tag zwei, Agra
Frühe Fahrt über die Yamuna Expressway. Der Taj Mahal mit Ihrem Guide, dann das Agra Fort, wo Shah Jahan seine letzten acht Jahre als Gefangener seines Sohnes verbrachte, in Sichtweite des Grabmals, das er errichtet hatte. Rückkehr nach Delhi am Abend.
