El tercer monumento es el que justifica la hora extra.
Casi todas las excursiones de un día desde Delhi hacen el Taj y el Fuerte. Itimad-ud-Daulah, el Baby Taj, es lo que se recorta, y resulta que es el edificio que explica los otros dos.
Nur Jahan lo levantó para su padre entre 1622 y 1628, dos décadas antes del Taj Mahal. Es el primer edificio mogol revestido por completo de mármol blanco, y el primero en usar marquetería de pietra dura a gran escala. Casi todo aquello por lo que se celebra el Taj se resolvió aquí primero, a un tamaño en el que puede acercarse lo suficiente para ver cómo se hizo. Además es pequeño, tiene sombra y suele estar casi vacío, lo que después del Taj ya es un alivio en sí mismo.

El Taj cierra los viernes. El Fuerte y el Baby Taj siguen abiertos, así que una versión en viernes aún le deja dos de tres.
Entrada para extranjeros: Taj 1.100 ₹ más 200 ₹ por el mausoleo, Fuerte de Agra 650 ₹, Itimad-ud-Daulah 310 ₹.
El Baby Taj queda al otro lado del Yamuna respecto a los otros dos, así que se coloca al principio o al final según la luz, no según la distancia.
Nueve horas, seis de ellas en carretera. La salida temprana es lo que hace posibles tres monumentos en lugar de dos.
Calzado cómodo. El Fuerte de Agra en particular son largos tramos de arenisca irregular.
