Tres sitios, una noche, sin correr.
Fatehpur Sikri es la víctima de toda excursión de un día a Agra. Está a 40 km al oeste de la ciudad, o sea una hora en cada sentido que simplemente no tiene si además debe volver conduciendo a Delhi. Quedarse a dormir lo resuelve.
Día uno
Recogida en su hotel o en el aeropuerto de Delhi, coche privado con aire acondicionado por la Yamuna Expressway. El Fuerte de Agra por la tarde y después el Taj Mahal con la luz del atardecer. Entrada al hotel.
Día dos
El Taj al amanecer si lo quiere, y luego hacia el oeste a Fatehpur Sikri. Akbar construyó esta capital en arenisca roja a partir de 1571 y la abandonó en unos quince años, con toda probabilidad porque falló el agua. El Buland Darwaza con sus 54 metros, las cinco plantas abiertas del Panch Mahal y el dargah de mármol de Salim Chishti, donde las mujeres siguen atando hilos a las celosías, están todos intactos, y rara vez hay aglomeración. Después, la vuelta a Delhi.
