Deux jours, et le Taj à l'aube sans départ à 3h du matin.
Le Taj au lever du soleil depuis Delhi en excursion d'une journée suppose de partir au milieu de la nuit. Passer la nuit à Agra supprime cela, et donne à Delhi une vraie journée à elle plutôt qu'un simple passage.
Premier jour, Delhi
Le Qutub Minar et le pilier de fer. La tombe de Humayun, le tombeau-jardin sur lequel le Taj a été modelé, à voir la veille du Taj lui-même : la filiation est évidente quand on s'est tenu dans les deux. Le Vieux Delhi pour le fort Rouge, la Jama Masjid et Chandni Chowk. Puis la route vers Agra et la nuit sur place.
Deuxième jour, Agra
Le Taj Mahal au lever du soleil, depuis un hôtel à vingt minutes plutôt qu'à trois heures. La porte ouvre environ une demi-heure avant l'aube et le premier groupe a le site presque pour lui.
Le fort d'Agra après le petit-déjeuner, où le Musamman Burj regarde le tombeau par-dessus la Yamuna. Puis retour à Delhi.

Le Taj est fermé le vendredi, le fort Rouge le lundi. Les deux tombent dans cet itinéraire : les dates comptent, envoyez-les et nous organisons l'ordre.
L'entrée au lever du soleil suppose de quitter l'hôtel d'Agra vers 5h30. C'est le meilleur moment du voyage.
La brume d'hiver venue de la Yamuna peut masquer le dôme pendant la première heure, de novembre à février.
