Deux jours, et seulement 100 minutes de trajet dans chaque sens.
Le service rapide couvre Delhi-Agra en environ une heure quarante, contre trois heures par la route un bon jour. Sur un voyage de deux jours, cet écart représente presque un après-midi, et c'est la raison pour laquelle cet itinéraire fait tenir trois sites confortablement là où une version routière en fait tenir deux.
Premier jour
Prise en charge à votre hôtel ou à l'aéroport de Delhi pour le train du matin. Une voiture privée climatisée et votre guide vous attendent à Agra Cantt. Le fort d'Agra dans l'après-midi, puis le Taj Mahal dans la lumière du soir quand le marbre se réchauffe. Installation pour la nuit.
Deuxième jour
Retour au Taj pour le lever du soleil, qui est vraiment un autre bâtiment que celui vu la veille en fin d'après-midi : une fraction de la foule, de l'air frais, et la pierre qui passe du gris au rose puis au blanc. Après le petit-déjeuner, Fatehpur Sikri ou l'Itimad-ud-Daulah selon votre option, puis le train du retour.
