Deux jours, deux Taj Mahal différents, et pas six heures de voiture.
L'excursion d'une journée à Agra passe six heures en trajet pour peut-être cinq heures de visite. Ici, c'est autrement : le Gatimaan Express couvre chaque trajet en environ 100 minutes, et une nuit sur place vous donne le Taj dans la lumière du soir puis au lever du soleil, deux expériences réellement différentes du même bâtiment.

Prise en charge à Delhi pour le Gatimaan du matin. Une voiture privée climatisée et votre guide vous attendent à Agra Cantt. Le fort d'Agra l'après-midi, puis le Taj Mahal dans la lumière tardive, quand le marbre se réchauffe. Installation pour la nuit.
Jour deux
Retour au Taj pour le lever du soleil, quand le site est au plus vide et que la pierre passe du gris au rose puis au blanc. Après le petit-déjeuner, il reste du temps pour Fatehpur Sikri ou l'Itimad-ud-Daulah selon votre option, puis le train du retour vers Delhi.

Le Taj est fermé le vendredi, et cet itinéraire le visite deux fois : vérifiez donc soigneusement vos dates. Le Gatimaan ne circule pas le vendredi non plus.

L'entrée au lever du soleil veut dire quitter l'hôtel vers 5 h 30. C'est le meilleur moment du voyage.
