Passer la nuit, c'est voir le Taj deux fois, sous deux lumières différentes.
L'excursion à Agra dans la journée passe six heures en voiture pour peut-être cinq heures de visite. Une nuit sur place change le calcul : la route se répartit sur deux jours, et vous voyez le Taj le soir puis au lever du soleil, qui sont vraiment deux expériences différentes du même bâtiment.
Premier jour
Prise en charge à votre hôtel ou à l'aéroport de New Delhi, puis la Yamuna Expressway jusqu'à Agra. Le fort d'Agra dans l'après-midi : le Diwan-i-Am, le palais de Jahangir, et le Musamman Burj où Shah Jahan fut enfermé par son fils avec le Taj en vue. Puis le Taj Mahal dans la lumière tardive, quand le marbre se réchauffe et que la foule s'est éclaircie. Installation pour la nuit.
Deuxième jour
Retour au Taj pour le lever du soleil. La porte ouvre environ une demi-heure avant l'aube et le premier groupe l'a presque pour lui. Après le petit-déjeuner, il reste du temps pour l'Itimad-ud-Daulah ou Fatehpur Sikri selon votre option, puis la route du retour vers Delhi.
