Le Taj Mahal et un tigre, dans le même voyage.
Ranthambore est à environ quatre heures d'Agra, ce qui rend cette combinaison géographiquement logique plutôt qu'acrobatique. En trois jours, vous obtenez les deux choses que la plupart des visiteurs du nord de l'Inde veulent et entre lesquelles ils doivent habituellement choisir.
Ranthambore s'est construit autour d'un fort du Xe siècle, envahi depuis par une forêt sèche de feuillus. Le parc abrite une véritable population de tigres, et les animaux y sont habitués aux véhicules, ce qui explique les taux d'observation. On y voit aussi le léopard, l'ours lippu, le sambar, le crocodile des marais et un très grand nombre d'oiseaux.

Prise en charge à Delhi en véhicule privé climatisé. Agra pour le Taj Mahal et le fort d'Agra, puis route vers Ranthambore pour le safari, hébergement inclus. Retour à Delhi à la fin.

Ranthambore ferme du 1er juillet au 30 septembre pour la mousson. Les zones 6 à 10 restent parfois ouvertes ; les zones centrales, non.
Les créneaux de safari sont attribués par l'État et limités. Ils partent bien à l'avance d'octobre à mars et autour des fêtes indiennes. Réservez le plus tôt possible.
Une observation de tigre n'est pas garantie et personne d'honnête ne vous la promettra. La zone est attribuée par le département des forêts, ni par vous ni par nous.
Les safaris du matin sont meilleurs pour les observations et franchement froids en véhicule ouvert en décembre. Prévoyez des couches.
Le Taj est fermé le vendredi. Nous organiserons la journée d'Agra en conséquence.
