How it runs
Pickup from your hotel or the airport in a private air-conditioned car. Down the Yamuna Expressway to Agra, roughly three hours.
The Taj Mahal with a professional English-speaking guide: the gate approach, the gardens, the platform and the mausoleum interior, with the inlay work and the symmetry explained properly rather than pointed at.
Agra Fort afterwards, ten minutes away. The Diwan-i-Am where the emperor heard petitions, the Jahangir Palace, and the octagonal Musamman Burj with its view across the river to the Taj.
