How the day runs
Pickup from your hotel or the airport in Delhi in a private air-conditioned car. The Yamuna Expressway takes about three hours, and going early is worth it: the Taj before eight is cooler, emptier and considerably better lit.
At the Taj Mahal your guide handles the entry and takes you through the gardens, the platform and the interior, explaining the inlay, the screens and the construction. Agra Fort follows, with the Diwan-i-Am, the Jahangir Palace and the Musamman Burj where the Taj is visible across the Yamuna.
Lunch, then the drive back.
