Fuerte de Amber

Su guía le espera aquí. Iniciado en 1592 por Raja Man Singh, general de Akbar, sobre una cresta encima del lago Maota, un fuerte rajput construido por artesanos mogoles, razón por la que la incrustación persa convive con el tallado hindú.

La puerta pintada Ganesh Pol, con la galería enrejada encima desde la que las mujeres de la corte observaban las llegadas sin ser vistas. Great guide and lovely driver. The only downside: We booked the tour specifically because it included Galta Ji (the monkey temple). Luckily we mentioned that we wanted to go there, because the guide and the drive didn’t know about this and we skipped another part of the tour (The City Palace) that wasn’t as important to us, because otherwise there would‘ve been no time to visit Galta Ji. The guide didn’t accompany us to Galta Ji though and the driver didn’t know the way (he had to look it up on Google Maps and ask a few people). We made it there anyway, thanks to our lovely driver. But the company shouldn’t mention a program on here if it‘s not what your getting in the end. Make sure to talk to your guide what you like to see at the beginning of the day and mention what’s most important to you.
