10:00: fuerte de Amber

El complejo en la cima de la colina sobre el lago Maota, iniciado en 1592. Patios que ascienden por la cresta, la puerta Ganesh Pol, y el Sheesh Mahal, cuyo techo de espejos se construyó para que una vela llenara la sala de luz.

Hay un jeep para subir la rampa si prefiere no caminar. Aquí operan paseos en elefante y no los reservamos, los animales trabajan jornadas largas sobre piedra caliente, y un jeep hace el mismo trabajo.

12:00: la ciudad

El Jal Mahal desde la calzada, cuatro de sus cinco pisos bajo el agua, una parada fotográfica y nada más.

El City Palace, donde la arquitectura mogol y rajput se encuentran a través de patios y donde la antigua familia real todavía vive en parte del complejo.
